Youth Resource Centres & Vocational Training

HAPEN’s Youth Resource Centres provide structured programmes for young people aged 15–35, offering access to information, peer interaction, computers, educational resources, and sports. Vocational training activities include:

Establishing vocational training centres for youth to earn livelihoods through gained skills
Supporting activities to improve employment opportunities for trained graduates
Improving linkages with other vocational training centres for cross-learning and experience sharing
Combating exploitative child labour and human trafficking through literacy and job skills training
Supporting alternative and transitional education programmes addressing illiteracy
Developing customised internship and mentoring programmes for trainees adapting to new work environments
